The Word On The Street - 1

Wherever you go, it's good to read the writing on the wall. I think the intrigue lies in not knowing what's driven the person to speak on a wall.
Anyways, I plan to post them here one by one fairly regularly...

These images were made by Jean-Marie Vives. Incredibly imaginative and beautiful. Maybe more so because of the recognizable landmarks and themes of apocalypse!
You can see current work at http://www.jeanmarievives.com

Julia Fullerton Batten created these striking wonderful images for a project called Teenage Stories i found them on lifelounge.com where they have the entire project.

Asobi Seksu - Me & Mary from Aaron Stewart-Ahn on Vimeo.

I think this piece is really well done and pleasing to the eye, the use of previously designed animation shown through projection gives the video a lucid dreamy feel. I like the simplistic use of graphics in the projections this combined with live action of the band members throwing feathers gives the video a nice organic feel.
