A great little idea where a paintball simulator gives you sight and spacial awareness as you move around an otherwise invisible environment!

The work of Florentijn Hofman
Florentijn seems to shout his ideas out, and nothing really connects them. Other than the fact the are shouted! Quite an admirable approach to creativity.

Moray Mclaren 'We Got Time' (Dir. David Wilson)
Moray Mclaren - We Got Time from welovemusique on Vimeo.
With everything in the world now being insanely quick, most people (including me) don't have the patience to watch a music video from start to finish. I didn't have a problem with this one at all. I wanted to know where it would go, and it just looks beautiful.
The video is made purely of in-camera animation - the only post production is the cuts and wipes for the transitions between animations.
More of David Wilson's work here.

Leisure Society video shown on BBC News!
I had to leg it home to get the video and send it to the BBC in time. They showed it just hours later on the news.

Exciting News! (for me)
The song 'Last The Melting Snow' by The Leisure Society has been nominated for an Ivor Novello award.
As result of this, the BBC 10 O'Clock news will be showing the video I made TONIGHT!
Here it is again, in case you don't watch the news.

5'10 from Derek Andrade on Vimeo.
This film is the first of three, it acts as a stream of consciousness telling the story of our main protagonist. I wanted the animation to be completely stripped down so it was just our characters story that we were concentrating on. Because of this the camera is allowed to roam around freely revealing aspects of the young man's life. As i progress through the making of the three films, they will, in turn become more complex in both the narrative and the animation technique.
